Art. 6
Engagements
5

Five engagements, in sequence.

The Practice of HI-AAF is delivered as five discrete commercial engagements. They are ordered: most customers begin with a Workshop, complete a Readiness Assessment before the formal Assessment, and enter Maintenance on the strength of that Assessment — active Maintenance is a precondition of Certification, not a sequel to it. Each engagement is governed by a written charter.

Art. 6.01

Workshop

A facilitated half-day or one-day session that frames the agent's intended behavior, its operating envelope, and the questions the assessment must answer.

Half-day or one day · on-site or virtual · facilitated by an HI principal.

Art. 6.02

Readiness Assessment

A structured pre-assessment against the nine domains, returning a written readiness opinion and the work required to meet the Standard.

Two to three weeks · written readiness opinion + remediation plan.

Art. 6.03

Assessment

The formal evaluation of an AI agent against HI-AAF, conducted by Human Intelligence assessors and concluding in a published Letter of Assessment.

Six to ten weeks · evidence review + production observation + interview · concluding Letter of Assessment.

Art. 6.04

Maintenance

Continuous review of the agent's behavior in production on a monthly retainer, with quarterly business reviews and a documented record of corrective action.

Monthly retainer · Bobby runtime integration + human review queue · quarterly business review with re-attestation.

Art. 6.05

Certification

Written assessment that an AI agent meets the Standard, reviewed annually and issued by Human Intelligence.

Annual · contingent on active Assessment and Maintenance · revocable on lapse.
